Well it’s been a while since I did this so i'll give you a recap of the past few very hectic days. We did the recording and it all went good and it was a lot of fun, but we realized that we weren’t as hardcore as we thought. We actually sound very old school punk which is all good all the same. That was Wednesday and on Thursday I didn’t do much during the day but clean for 4 hours, but that night was great. I got to go out with my girlfriend Britney and we saw the Pirates of the Caribbean and all in all spent time together which we hadn’t done in a long time. Then today being Friday I helped the Davis’s move. It took us 2 trips with the biggest Uhauls they have to move them. And then after that I came home and finally did what I do best…. NOTHING!!

Well today I had band practice it was pretty good though our drummer couldn’t be there because he told us at the last minute that he had to work. But other that that it was all good. We have show coming up at Zion Christian Church on the 3rd. The doors open at 3:30 and the show starts at 4:00.

Well I guess for all you that don’t know (though I only think on person probably reads this) my band is called In Loving Memory but we are changing the name at the show to Maury. We figured that the name just didn’t fit our sound or image because I know it sounds emo and I hate emo with a passion and we are nothing like that, and yes we did get the name from the talk show host witch we watch at every practice at 3 o’clock on the dot. Our style I guess you could call hardcore punk, but I'm not say that to be cliché we actually fuse both the sounds of hardcore and old school oie punk rawk.

We are recording a demo on Wednesday and will have them for sale at the show. So come support Melbourne's newest local  band In Loving Memory (Maury).

Well this is my entry on my new xanga thingy. Well I finally got on so I can put my thought feels writing and just things about life in general. Well I think I will end this my first entry with a little poem I wrote that prove that when you are a teenager not all poems have to be about band thing in your life or even about good things in your life, sometimes they can just be pointless and funny.

Just a shovel and gloves

Poop in the selling,

Poop on the floor

Poop in the sky and poop on the shore

Were did it come from were has it been

So much poop I feel locked in.

Locked in this silence I created

With only a sign to speak my words.

The shovel is my only friend yet it is my enemy.

My mast that locks me in this cell of repetitiveness

 When will it end?

When will all this end?
